Cape & Islands Scholarships Information

The Cape & Islands Farm Bureau offer two scholarships, one to Cape & Islands graduating High School Students and the other is a youth scholarship. Our collegiate Scholarship is awarded to students pursuing a career related to agriculture and the youth scholarship it given to child who has demonstrated exemplary leadership and drive in the agricultural field.

Collegiate Scholarships are typically $500 and Youth scholarships  are $250. The applications are painless.


 

Collegiate Scholarships

The Cape & Islands Farm Bureau is proud to be able to present Scholarships for students who will pursue a career related to agriculture. A maximum of 2 Scholarships of $500 each will be awarded to the best qualifed full time students who are graduating from High School.

Students must reside on the Cape or Islands and must sponsored by a Farm Bureau member. The Board of Directors may sponsor qualified students.

The application is easy. A record of High School academic performance with signatures of School Principal or Guidance Councilor and parent/guardian is required.

Application deadline is June 1. Notification will be by August 1. Scholarships may be used for tuition, books, computers, etc. Scholarships will be paid upon proof of enrollment in a qualified agricultural related program and may be reapplied for in consecutive years with proof of satisfactory academic performance.

Youth Scholarships

A maximum of two youth scholarship  $250 each will be awarded to the best qualified youth and must be a Cape & Islands Farm Bureau member or sponsored by a member. Farm Bureau membership is family membership, so having parents who are members qualifies a student. The Board of Directors may sponsor a student.
